Melt and Pour Soap:
Usage Rate: 1–3% of total soap base
For light shimmer: 0.5–1%
For bold color: up to 3%
Disperse in a little rubbing alcohol before adding to avoid clumps.
Cold Process Soap:
Usage Rate: 1–2 tsp per 500g of oils (approx. 1–2%)
Mix with light oils or glycerin before adding to the batter.
Some colors may morph due to high pH – always do a small batch test.
Candles (Soy, Paraffin, Beeswax):
Usage Rate: 0.25–1%
Best used in decorative candles or surface shimmering.
Not recommended for wick-burning candles as mica may clog the wick.
Tips:
Always test in small batches to achieve desired intensity.
Can also be used in wax melts, resin crafts, and bath bombs.
